Bone Marrow Project
-
Objective: to provide medical equipment to accomplish bone marrow biopsies in order to diagnose blood cancers
-
Grenada has hematologists, pathology, and treatment available for most leukemia cancers, but currently, there is no available equipment to perform a bone marrow biopsy.
-
Grenada averages approximately 50 bone marrow biopsies per year
-
CCFG will provide Grenada with equipment necessary to complete a basic bone marrow biopsy. Our goal is to provide single-use, disposable bone marrow biopsy kits (50 per year). If single-use kits are not available, we will explore other options for equipment.

Mammogram Project

-
Mammograms are offered in Grenada, but private pay only

CCFG will launch a program for donors to sponsor individual mammograms. Mammogram Sponsorship Program funds will be given to the Pink Ribbon Society of Grenada (local breast cancer organization). Individuals in need of mammograms will be approved for this program by Ms. Eunice Baptiste and the Pink Ribbon Society and money would be paid directly to the mammogram proprietor.
